There are lots of great writing blogs. (See my post at DELB for my picks for the Top 30 Writing Blogs). But legal-writing blogs are harder to find. Here are my 10 favorite:
Adams Drafting By Ken Adams, the authority on drafting legal contracts.
Ariana R. Levinson’s Blog From the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the Univ. of Kentucky.
Disputed Issues Controversies in legal research, analysis, and writing.
Fairyland Castle By Martin Magnusson, on the language of law and politics.
Legal Writing Profs Blog A member of the Law Professor Blogs Network.
Set In Style By Mister Thorne. Lawyers are Authors and Law Firms are Publishers.
The (New) Legal Writer A collection of resources for lawyers and other writers by Ray Ward.
Typography for Lawyers By Matthew Butterick. A revolution for legal documents.
Wayne Schiess’s Legal-Writing Blog Making legal writing clear, correct, direct.
Writing, Clear and Simple Written by Roy Jacobsen, offers writing tips to legal and non-legal writers alike.
These also are posted in the blogroll, along with other fantastic blogs on other interesting subjects.
